For recovery organizations IRN provides the ability to access and share information with other recovery organizations throughout the state of Indiana. These include: articles, best practices, documents, etc. Recovery organizations will have access to “helping hands”, to have their questions answered by individuals identified as experts in their specific area of recovery. Recovery organizations can create private groups specific to their common recovery services or supports and includes direct messaging, discussions and information sharing among group members.

For individuals who are seeking or are in recovery IRN is an organized hub for links to information and resources which can assist in every stage of the recovery journey. The IRN also provides links for direct access to Peer Support Services as well as the ability to connect to recovery organizations and centers.

Recognizing the need for a statewide collaboration between organizations and individuals who are building and maintaining recovery resources for those who are seeking or are in recovery, the Indiana Addition Issues Coalition (IAIC) has created the Indiana Recovery Network (IRN).

Recovery supports and services that can be found on the IRN website focus on all areas of recovery as defined by SAMHSA: health, home, purpose and community.

The following organizations are welcome to join the IRN – recovery community organizations (RCO), recovery community centers (RCC), recovery residences, peer supports, individuals and service providers who all play a pivotal role in the recovery movement for the state of Indiana.
