In Support of Recovery

Indiana Recovery Network has been a tremendously valuable partner to Hoosiers in the fight against substance use disorder. When we needed to launch our regional recovery hubs at a time of critical need, Indiana Recovery Network was ready at a moment’s notice. When we observe National Recovery Month every September, Indiana Recovery Network celebrates loudly and proudly with us. When there’s a Hoosier in need of recovery resources, Indiana Recovery Network guides them every step of the way.

Giving Hoosiers their best chance at recovery improves not only their health, but the health of the entire state. Every Indiana community benefits when we recognize that addiction is a disease and provide opportunities to put people on a path to better health. The Indiana Recovery Network is an invaluable partner in that work.

Kristina Box, MD, FACOG
Indiana State Health Commissioner

The Indiana Recovery Network has helped Indiana attack the drug epidemic through prevention, treatment and enforcement by bringing together resources for the full continuum of care. Their work has helped make treatment and harm reduction available to more Hoosiers who are willing to take the first step in their recovery journey.

Education helps individuals in so many ways. Besides improving career opportunities, it helps people find purpose and build new social networks. Social capital is a big part of a person’s recovery capital. We are honored to help recoveree’s find or improve their purpose and social capital with the Indiana Recovery Network and Ivy Tech.
